Rising power demand, integration of renewables, and Right of Way (RoW) challenges for overhead lines
are
accelerating the shift toward underground cables in transmission and distribution. Alongside HVDC
systems and advanced insulation such as nano-dielectrics, the role of specialized solar cables and
accessories for renewable integration is becoming increasingly important.
Utilities continue to face challenges in condition monitoring, but modern diagnostic methods and
analytical tools are improving maintenance practices.
The 13th CABLETECH Conference will focus on safe and reliable cable transmission systems
with special
attention to Cables for Renewable Energy, HVDC, innovative materials, assessment techniques, special
application cables, Aerial Bunched Cables, Covered Conductors and condition monitoring.
Since 1983, CABLETECH has brought together engineers, scientists, manufacturers, and regulators
worldwide to share
insights and advance cable technologies.
Hosted in Bengaluru, India’s Garden City and a hub of research and technology, the conference offers
both
technical insights and opportunities for networking in a vibrant setting.

The Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), established in 1960 by the Government of India, is a premier centre for applied research in electrical power engineering. It supports the electrical industry in product development, quality assurance, and serves as an independent authority for testing and certification of specialized power equipment.
Addressing rising power demand, renewable integration, HVDC, underground cabling, nano-dielectrics, and smart cable systems.

to CPRI along with necessary payment.

payment. The conference time will be 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM.
The registration will start at
8.00 AM
on 18th
June 2026. The registration fee shall cover the conference kit,
copy of conference
proceedings,
tea/coffee/lunch during the conference days.
